Art on the Archway campus helps us to fulfill our mission to commemorate the past and provide inspiration for the future.

A Narrow Escape

Enjoy the sculptures on the Archway campus including “A Narrow Escape,” a bronze sculpture depicting the true story of the Martin Brothers by David Biehl, a sculptor from Lexington, Nebraska. The sculpture was donated to the Archway by the Fred Bosselman Family.

We Stayed

And, get a glimpse of life on a Nebraska homestead with five life-size bronze figures called “We Stayed.” The group was created by sculptor David Biehl and donated to the Archway by Rhonda Seacrest.

Bison

Take a group photo with our giant bison, sculpted by Gary Ginther from Cambridge, Nebraska, and provided to the Archway by Ted’s Montana Grill.

Murals

Enjoy hand-painted murals throughout the historical exhibit including the Oregon Trail mural and prairie gravesite scene by artist Rob Evans of Sherborn, Massachusetts.

I-80

The Yellowstone mural by Paul Barker of Evanston, Illinois, provides a dramatic backdrop for our I-80 exhibit.

Roadside Café Mural

The Roadside Café Mural by Kenneth B. Gore provides an overview of the eras and events depicted throughout the Archway’s historical exhibit. Portraits of many of the people who worked on the Archway project are included among the characters who populate this sweeping mural.
