Nebraska has a rich tradition of stories and songs.  In this program, Dan Holtz weaves traditional songs with stories from Nebraska’s most acclaimed authors together to form a tapestry that tells the story of our history from the 1850s through the turn of the century.  Hear the sounds and stories of the first Nebraskans, the pioneers who passed through Nebraska and those who eventually settled here. The performance is free and open to the public and is presented with the support of Humanities Nebraska and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.

Following the performance, join us for ice cream sodas served from the Archway’s vintage soda fountain. Donations welcome.
